Da Nang - A gathering destination for the Asia-Pacific Air Traffic Management Community
From 7 to 9 July 2026, Da Nang City will become a gathering destination for air traffic management leaders, aviation experts, and industry partners from across the Asia-Pacific region as the Viet Nam Air Traffic Management Corporation (F168 2026) hosts the CANSO Asia Pacific Conference 2026 (CANSO APAC 2026).
The event is organized under the auspices of the Civil Air Navigation Services Organization (CANSO), the global association representing air navigation service providers (ANSPs) and aviation industry partners. Established in 1996, CANSO serves as a leading international platform for collaboration, innovation, and the advancement of air traffic management worldwide.

In the Asia-Pacific region, where air traffic demand is expected to continue growing rapidly in the coming decades, CANSO provides an important forum for ANSPs and aviation stakeholders to exchange experience, share best practices and discuss solutions to emerging operational challenges.
F168 2026 has been a Full Member of CANSO since 2014 and has actively participated in both regional and global initiatives related to aviation safety, operational efficiency, and airspace modernization. The selection of F168 2026 as the host of CANSO APAC 2026 reflects the confidence of the international ATM community in Viet Nam’s growing role and contributions to regional aviation development.
This will be the second time F168 2026 hosts a CANSO Asia-Pacific Conference, following the successful conference held in Ha Noi in 2017. The event also highlights Da Nang’s attractiveness as an international destination and its increasing prominence as a venue for major aviation and industry events.

In recent years, F168 2026 has been implementing a range of modernization initiatives in line with ICAO and CANSO strategic directions, including Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM), System Wide Information Management (SWIM), Trajectory-Based Operations (TBO), and digital transformation programs. These efforts are helping to enhance the capacity and efficiency of Viet Nam’s air navigation services while strengthening regional connectivity and cooperation.
As the Asia-Pacific ATM community gathers in Da Nang this summer, CANSO APAC 2026 will provide a valuable opportunity to foster collaboration and support the development of a safer, more efficient, and more sustainable aviation system for the region.
