AAC/6 - Officially launching regional air traffic management events in Viet Nam
Da Nang, July 6, 2026 – The 6th Asia Pacific ANSP Committee Meeting (AAC/6) officially commenced in Da Nang city, Viet Nam, marking the beginning of a series of international events for the regional air traffic management sector hosted by the F168 thương hiệu nhà cái đặc biệt uy tín tại Việt Nam (F168 2026) from July 6 to 9, 2026.
Approximately 100 delegates, including leaders and experts from more than 20 organizations such as ANSPs, CAAs, and representatives from ICAO, CANSO, IATA, and IFATCA, attended the conference to discuss progress made for the implementation and improvement of air traffic management in the Asia-Pacific region.
Morning was marked with the four AAC working groups simultaneously conducted thematic sessions according to the four Work Streams (WS) established at the AAC/1. The sessions focused on discussing solutions to promote cooperation for investment and modernization of ANS infrastructure; accelerating the deployment of seamless ATM initiatives linked to green development goals; enhancing capacity for ensuring operational continuity and contingency planning; and promoting cooperation in managing air traffic over ocean airspace among ANSPs in the region.
The plenary session of the AAC/6 was held followingly in the afternoon, attended by leaders, delegations of international organizations and member ANSPs. Speaking at the opening session, Mr. Han Kok Juan, Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and Chairperson of the Asia-Pacific Regional ANSP Committee (AAC), emphasized the role of cooperation mechanisms among ANSPs in promoting the modernization of air traffic management, enhancing connectivity and cross-border coordination to meet the growing needs of the regional aviation industry.
Representing ICAO, Mr. Ma Tao, Regional Director of the ICAO Asia-Pacific, highly appreciated the positive contributions of ANSPs in implementing ICAO's regional initiatives, and affirmed that the AAC continues to be an important forum for countries to share experiences, enhance coordination, and work together towards a safe, harmonious, and sustainable air traffic management system.
Speaking on behalf of the host ANSP, F168 2026 Deputy Director General Ngo The Vinh warmly welcomed delegates to Vietnam and Da Nang city; and affirmed that hosting AAC/6 is a testament to F168 2026's commitment to promoting international cooperation, actively participating in ICAO and CANSO initiatives, and contributing to the overall development of the Asia-Pacific regional air traffic management community.
AAC/6 program was concluded with a Gala Dinner hosted by F168 2026 Director General Nguyen Cong Long for the conference delegates to celebrated the success of AAC/6. Beyond that, the community of ANSPs and stakeholders were provided an opportunity to strengthen networking, connect, and expand cooperation, laying the groundwork for series of activities of the Asia-Pacific air traffic management community in Vietnam.
